I feel afraid yet calm at the same time.

Today I have an appointment with my doctor to talk about the mammogram and ultrasound scans I had last week. 

Hoping for the best… please send positive thoughts and energy my way if you can :)

Last night was so awesome.  I enjoyed going for a swim with my babe.  We were in there for a lil over an hour and during that time we swam laps, laughed and played.  I absolutely loved every second of our time in the pool.  Muah!  I love you baby.  I’m looking forward to a fun summer with you…..and dreading you being gone next week.   ;)

I love it when we act goofy together!! Muah! I love you too. 

I guess they were happy tears that fell from my eyes after I awoke at 5 a.m. from a dream where I saw my late dog Pesto.

I am more afraid of the process than I am of the results.

I read that getting a mammogram hurts. I also have to get an ultrasound today. Is all of that really necessary?  Has anyone who follows me gotten one before? What can I expect?

I finally got access to my myspace account and deleted it… but before I deactivated the account, I saved these pictures of my dogs from my previous life (around 2008 maybe?). Like a year ago, I accidentally deleted all of my pictures off my computer at some point when I was backing up my computer files, so I really have nothing from the past to look back on besides the random pics I find here and there. Also, the other day I was deleting picture and videos from my iPhone to make space for app updates and I watched a few videos that I had taken of my dogs back in the day and they made me smile. So I wanted to share what my babies used to look like when they were in my care. They were my precious, perfect pups!   

Overwhelming success on a project at work, and other updates.

I’ve been hearing praises all day for the role I played in the recent 24-hour Donor Challenge from Rice’s Annual Fund team, my immediate supervisor and the VP of Development. I’m so happy to be working with colleagues who value my work and trust my professional design advice/skills. 

My health continues to concern me since I still feel discomfort from Saturday’s episode of pain, but I’ve been penciled in to see my doctor tomorrow. I’m hoping for the best and some answers! 

I am optimistic that it’s going to be a great week :) 

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there and pet moms too! I’m having a nice time hanging out with my mom. We went shopping at Memorial City Mall and now we are heading to dinner! :)
