I’ve been thinking about this for a year now…

and I’ve only just begun researching ways to accomplish it. I desire to be a user experience designer. I’m debating whether I should jump start my pursuit with an intensive course taught by designers at Cooper in San Francisco, or I should just try to teach myself enough to land a job and take off from there? Or go back to school? <- which I don’t wanna do. An old friend from U of H attended a session at Cooper and now she has enough experience to be a UX designer?! I dunno. The course is during my trip out of the country, so I might have to decide. It’s also more expensive than my whole two week trip! However, it’s still cheaper and quicker than a whole semester at school. Here’s a little about Cooper U:
